Firefighters are your Friends (Part 1): Safety Spot: Episode 145: June 27, 2014

We just live streamed our 145th episode of the live streamed children's safety show, Sparkles' Safety Spot, LIVE from Sparkles' Clubhouse in Clarksville, Arkansas!

In Part I of our series, "Firefighters are Community Helpers and Friends," we shared the video that we took while at the "Fill the Fire Truck" Cereal Drive in Little Rock.

The Little Rock Fire Department and KTHV 11 held the event to support the local food bank. Firefighter Casey Reep shared how firefighters are community helpers and how he likes to help his community. We also hear from Firefighter Bo and see a ladder truck lowering its ladder!

Thanks to Firefighter Bo Hagar, Firefighter Casey Reed, Division Chief Joseph Gray and Fire Chief Greg Summers from the Little Rock Fire Department.

Sparkles' Safety Spot: Episode 76

Yesterday we live streamed our 76th Episode of Sparkles' Safety Spot and we had SO MUCH FUN!

Detective Stash was on the show via satellite and he shared information about firefighters and their gear. Firefighters wear special clothes to help keep them safe!

And, as always, we showed pictures and videos of what they Fire Safety Dogs were up to the past week.

Check out all the tricks that I did, including waving and opening the mailbox to check our mail!

Sparkles' Safety Spot to Air on U of O's TV 6!

Great news!

Not only are the University of the Ozarks' SIFE organization and international students helping translate episodes of Sparkles' Safety Spot, the university's cable access channel (TV6), has agreed to help share each week's episode of the recording of the live stream of the kid's safety show. Isn't that so exciting?!?!

Just got a note from TV6. Episode 73 will air this evening around 6 pm CST. Wanted to let all our friends in the area know!

Once we get the Hispanic, French and Japanese recorded versions of our shows going, we will be beside ourselves!

Whoo hoo!
