Helping the Community!

The Keep Kids Fire Safe Foundation and I are getting ready to go to the hospital to take our container of safety goodies for the first baby of 2014 in Johnson County.

Thank you to First Alert for the smoke alarms and to an anonymous donor who helped supply some of the items!

We can't wait to see who the new baby will be!

We love helping out our community and we appreciate the opportunity to help others! That is what it is all about!

The baby and their family received smoke alarms to help keep them safe!

Thanks to First Alert for the donation of their latest designer smoke alarms!

I pawtographed a picture for the baby!

Is that one lucky baby or what? Check out all the goodies!

The little one even gets a Keep Kids Fire Safe Foundation helmet with the Fire Safety Dogs' picture on it!

The loot!

The little one is lucky! They will have a smoke alarm to help keep them and their family safe!

I even packed the smoke alarm myself!

Stay safe, little one, and welcome to the world!

Mini-Me #2 Arrives!

Recently, I received my second "Mini-Me!" This one is different from my first one. This one is so cute! It has a helmet and vest, just like I wear!

How do you like it boys and girls?

We are going to auction my Mini-Me's to help raise money for the foundation next year. Hopefully it will help the foundation raise money to help with it's fire safety efforts.

Event on the Johnson County Courthouse Square!

Tonight the Keep Kids Fire Safe Foundation participated in an event after the Clarksville Christmas Parade.

The Clarksville Chamber of Commerce invited non-profits to set up on the Johnson County Court Square to help raise money. We couldn't resist!

It took us several hours to set up the foundation's tent.

Children stopped by the foundation's tent to have their picture made with me for a donation.

We raised $43! We were so excited!

Thanks to our volunteers, Robert Hilton, Kimberly Spicer, Jacob Lagoy and June Lagoy.

This is what our tent looked like at night!

Afterwards, I got a lot of hugs from Firefighter Dayna. I love getting hugs!

Visiting the Arkansas Fallen Firefighters Memorial

After the Little Rock Fire Department, we went to the Arkansas Fallen Firefighter's Memorial on the State Capitol grounds.

I sat quietly and prayed for all the fallen firefighters that have lost their lives. The workers should have it finished soon.

The Memorial will be dedicated in March.

Little Rock Fire Department Toy Parade!

Today we went to Little Rock for the Toy Parade. I was excited to see all my friends from the Little Rock fire department, Santa and all the boys and girls we'll be taking presents to!

Had a few pictures of me on Engine 8 before the parade started.

Don't you just love the wreath? How festive!

Getting in one last yawn this morning before the festivities begin!

We live about an hour and a half from the fire station, so I was still a bit sleepy!

Check out the nice ride that Santa had!

Boy, did I ever enjoy listening to the choir that was outside of the DHS building! It was very nice and the singers did a great job!

I loved getting my ears and back scratched! It was the best part of the day besides helping deliver presents to the boys and girls!

The big man himself was there! We had a great time visiting with people!

I shared with Santa that all that I wanted for Christmas was for all boys, girls and their families to stay safe.

This was my ride for the big day. Didn't the signs turn out pawsome?

Afterwards, I got a hug from Firefighter Bo. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE getting hugs?

Division Chief Gray thanked me for coming.

I told him "Anytime, Chief!"

New Safety Tip!

We want everyone to stay safe this holiday season! Practice fire safety EVERY DAY!

Please share our fire safety tip! We want you, your pets and your family to stay safe!

Making Signs for the Little Rock Fire Department Toy Parade!

Don't you just LOVE glitter, boys and girls? I do!

I was so excited when Firefighter Dayna shared with me that we were going to be making signs for the Little Rock Fire Department Toy Parade!

Let the fun begin!

First, we put down the glue to spell "Molly the Fire Safety Dog."

Then, we added the red glitter.

We let the red letters dry.

Next, we made the outline of the holly leaves.

Then, we put the green glitter on the leaves.

Next, we added the red glitter to look like the berries on the holly!

The trick was to let the green dry first so that the holly wouldn't be green AND red! BOL

Then, we let our sign dry.

And dry some more!

I got to make the final inspection.

Looks good!

We are all ready for the Toy Parade!
